Bright Summer Greetings

3 Aug
For my post on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog,
I have a bright and simple card today for this hot weather we are having in California.
It you can’t beat it join in, right?
If you head on over to the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge Blog:
the challenge is  Hot Summer Colors.
I found this image while searching for summer colors.

I liked it so much, I used it as the basis for my card.
Here is the card I have made for today’s post, based on the above design.
I used the ECCENTRIC CIRCLES embossing plate to emboss the background panels of papers first.
The leaves are from the TROPICAL LEAVES set.
The flowers are the smaller flowers from JUDY’S BLOOMS.
The word “aloha” is cut from the LOWERCASE LACE SCRIPT.
The style of the card is more clean and simple than things I usually do, but I just love the over all look and think this makes a gorgeous card!
What do you think?
I hope you have a great weekend.
This has been Jeannie with The Polka Cabana with today’s post.
