Wednesday Wowzer

It has been a whirlwind of a week for me and things have calmed slightly enough for me to create for today’s post.

Today I am using one of my favorite {ippity} sets called:

Flowers + Friends = Priceless

I made this card to go along with the challenge over on the

Get Hippity with Ippity site

Challenge 21 called Flower & Leaf.

I call this card a 4 square card.

By no means did I make the card up, but the directions I had from a well published book were so lousy,

I had yo recreate the card by sheer luck.

It gathers and closes and opens like a box lid.  Here is what it looks like on the inside opened up.

You can put what ever kind of sentiment or note you want to on the inside.

On the front you have 4 mini panels to decorate.

You can use it as a large panel or break it down into 4 small ones like I have.

Isn’t this a cute card and pattern?  And those flower stamps??  Get OUT!!  They are the best!!

Wednesday Wowzer Banner

Today I am using the {ippity} set called New Season, New Wonder.

I am using these mini gift card sized bags from CANVAS CORP as my base.

I thought this would be so cute using nice bright summer colors.

Using powders from WOW EMBOSSING POWDERS was the perfect touch since I had some vibrant colored powders to choose from.

I embellished a little with some puffy stickers I had from MOMENTA.

The puffy fruit stickers were the perfect finishing touch.

These bags are the perfect size to create a banner that is not overwhelming in size.

I hope you have enjoyed this idea of mine!

Mary Engelbreit meets {ippity}, Polka style!!

For those of you who know my tastes and styles a little, it should come as no surprise how much I over the top, totally and forever LOVE MARY ENGELBREIT, right?

Well today I am using a card pattern I have from one of her books.

It is a tri-fold card.

Here is the front of the card.

I am using the set called Something Groovy.

One of my favorite things to do is to use my Mary Engelbreit calendars for my cards and things

I was not quite sure if I could find a picture that went along with this 70′s inspired Something Groovy stamp set…but I did! (I think the girl is PERFECT for this card!)

The center portion of the card is a pocket.

All my bright and fun paper is from

MOMENTA PAPER, from the Kaleidoscope line.

This is the saying that was on the calendar page I used, it goes perfect with the theme of the card.

Standing up, so you can get an idea of how it is made.

This was such a fun project to make!

Manly Word Games Card

Today I am using a set I just received called:  Where You Should Be

I wanted to be part of 2 different challenges with this.  One challenge is for the Unity Opportunity Blog.

It is their NOTHING GIRLY challenge.

The other challenge is over on Practical Scrappers.  The Challenge is called WORD GAMES.

It was quite a challenge not to incorporate Nothing Girly on here, but I think I did alright!

The WORD GAME challenge was a fun one to follow to.

So there you have it, my Wednesday Wowzer.  I just love working with {ippity} stamps, if you have not had a chance, you are really missing out!

A “Dreamy” Card

Hello and happy Wednesday to everyone!!  Today I have a card of all cards to share today!

I am using this awesome sketch that Mojo Monday has up.  Sketch # 238.

 

I am using the set called Dream a Little Dream.

I don’t know if you can really see all the detail in this card but…

I have just started learning some new techniques in one of Christy Tomlinson’s online classes.

Although I do not have a lot (if any) of the supplies she uses, I improvised on this card.

Also, I made the card out of a piece of transparency paper, so it is really a unique card!

So there you have it…my attempt to WOW you all today!!  How did I do?

I Heart {ippity} Wednesday Wowzer

My post is late today as I was awaiting the right amount of sunshine to take my picture.  I had the card all ready to go, when MARMALADE..the neighbors cat decided to come and visit!  OOPS!

Anyhow, I am using this fun sketch from the Chick Challenges blog.

 Here is my take on the sketch.

Lots of stitching on this card.  There are quite a few layers!

I am using the set called We’re Better Together.

I also am using lots of fabulous Vellum and Metallic Foil Board from GRAFIX ARTS.

Are those bees just the cutest little things or what?

Wedesday Wowzer with {ippity} and Momenta

Today I have teamed up with a ton of my paper products from MOMENTA and have made a very bright and cheery card for you.

Am using Mojo Monday’s sketch # 236.

Here is the sketch.

I turned it upside down, like this, for my card.

I am using the {ippity} set called, Flowers + Friends = Priceless.

My decorative papers are from a pad called Kaleidoscopic.

It was so fun to match the inks to the Kaleidoscopic colors scheme and the flowers from the {ippity} set matched the papers perfectly.

The colors are so bright and cheery, don’t you agree?

Have I told you lately that I love {ippity}?  So much so, I did try out for the Unity Design Team call…whether I am in the right league or not, I don’t know.

But for me, I have to really love something to try out for their team.

Unity Stamps are just so much fun to work with.

Mother Daughter Wednesday Wowzer Time

I had a busy work week so far and my daughter was so sweet to try and do my card for this post. while I was at work tonight.

I will show her card after I show you the card I was able to come up with before going to bed.

It’s so much fun to get new stamps in the mail to play with.

I can’t show you this whole set, but I am using one of the sentiments, from this set, for this card.

The set is called Let your Heart Take Flight.

I am going to enter this in the Unity Opportunity Challenge called JUST SAY IT, Focus on Sentiments.

Since the sentiment is supposed to be the star of the card, I kept the rest of the card pretty simple.

Using paper from My Minds Eye Dolled Up and dies from Cheery Lynn Designs…I think the card is perfect for the challenge.  It also will go along with the challenge that is up on the GHWI blog, GHWI Challenge #18.

She tried to focus on the sentiments also, by stamping them on white.

She used the {ippity} set called:  Straight From the Heart.

I Heart {ippity} Wednesday Wowzer

Hello everyone..

I am here with a cute card today.  I am using Mojo Monday’s Sketch #233

Simply Home

I made this for some ladies that work at my local bank.

Have you ever made a card for your bank teller?  Well when you live in a small town, the local bank workers, store clerks, gas station attendants, well they are our neighbors & friends.

Yesterday the ladies at my bank helped me out tremendously with an issue one of my children caused with my bank account.

I had done all I could to resolve it without any luck, and went to them and they took it  over and helped me fix a pretty serious boo boo!

Now a days with technology, it is pretty scary what kids can do just by clicking a button.

I learned what to do to avoid that again, but thankfully my local friends were there to help me out too!

I hope they like my little card, thank {ippity} for such adorable stamps to work with!

I am also entering this in the GHWI challenge # 17

THINGS WITH WINGS..because I do have a bird on this and birds do have wings, right??
