Ok…I graduated in 1987…Married in 1989…Had my first child in 1991…Started SCRAPBOOKING in 1992.
Since 1992, I have always done the traditional scrapbook thing. Remember, taking a roll of pictures, taking the film to the store..waiting for the pics, picking them up, throwing half of them away because they were lousy?
Oh those were the days. Fast forward to now.
DIGITAL CAMERAS.
Now we take oodles of pictures, load them onto our computer and complain because we can’t afford to print them out etc.
What does this all mean?
Well, I have already announced that I am designing for a start-up company, THE LOLLIPOP PRESS. I was brought on to be a HYBRID girl. Hybrid girl, I will be, but thanks to JESSICA, I am really starting to get hooked on this digital process.
AGH!!!! I DO NOT, I REPEAT, I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER HOBBY!!
But hey, this one is not messy right? Also, this is a way to get through all those pics on the computer that are sitting there patiently waiting for me to do something with them. I can make some DIGI PAGES, if I can print them out some day, OR I can simply do something like make slide shows on my computer put to music and this can be very cost effective.
So, I want to show you again, and will keep highlighting, my works in progress as I learn new things. At the bottom of this post I am posting me DIGI page I did for THE LOLLIPOP PRESS, just because I wanted to try my hand at it. Remember, my ALPHABET GIVEAWAY is still going..so if you want a chance to win a piece of art designed by ME with YOUR pictures..be sure to sign up, leave a comment on the post titled : October 12
“Have I lost my touch? Trying something new, then!“
On, with this post: Here is another one of my DIGI LESSON final products. In this lesson, I learned how to draw that brown outline around my pics, but more importantly how to make the brown out line not got through my words. There are some techy terms I could throw at you here, but I will refrain!
Here is my Lesson 2 finished product. In this one I learned how to make that shape in the back (the pink one) and apply a patterned paper to it. I always add stuff that are not included in the lesson..but this is pretty much close to the lesson agenda.
Lastly if you happen over to THE LOLLIPOP PRESS today, you will see that I am the Designer of the day. Hooray! If you scroll down on THE LOLLIPOP PRESS page, you can see other Designers pages made with the same supplies. The possibilities are endless with THE LOLLIPOP PRESS‘s kits. I hope you enjoyed my sharing for the day!!
