Extreme Card Making with Cheery Lynn Designs

13 Jan
Today I am sharing a card that I made up in my head.
I am not afraid to make any kind of design, but I lack the engineering skills to make a card like this go smoothly.  It took quite a bit of time and if I make another, I know what I can do to improve this design.
There might be a name for this kind of card, but I have no clue what it is called.
This card is 6 layers and I tried to decorate each layer so that when looking through you could see all the embellishments at one time.  I tried to have the embellishments staggered so nothing overlapped each other.
Since our New Challenge is Beautiful Borders, I used lot of Cheery Lynn Designs borders on each layer.
The best way I can describe this is that it is sort of a shadowbox card.
Here is a side view so you can see how I put it together.
This is a top looking through view.
I had a ton of fun making this, but next time, I might try to find some directions from someone who has already mastered this!
My favorite part is my flowers on the front.  The greatest things to me is that when I make my own flowers with the Cheery Lynn Designs flower dies, I can use any kind of paper I want.   The final product is one of a kind, because I chose the design of the flower and the paper to perfectly match what I am making, that is a very GOOD THING to me!!
I hope you have enjoyed this project today, this has been Jeannie DeGruccio from The Polka Cabana with today’s post.
