Why is this caged bird singing?

31 Aug
Did you get my reference to the famous book?
I am still having a ton of fun with dies from the August New Release.
The new dies I have used on the card are Bird Cage, Hummingbird, Celtic Whimsy and Embellishment #2.
Dies that are not from the new release are Scalloped Rectangle’s, and Mini Fanciful Flourish.
I am so impressed with the intricate pattern of the Celtic Whimsy.  It cut easily and is such an impressive pattern.  This is easily one of my new favorites.
I also love the new Bird Cage.  What a gorgeous design.
Have you had a chance to head on over to our Challenge blog?
I just peeked and we are up to 41 entries already!  WOW, it’s not even the weekend yet.
The theme is anything goes.  Remember you do need to use a Cheery Lynn Designs dies in your project/card to qualify, but still anything goes?  What have you got to lose?
Have a great weekend!  This has been Jeannie from The Polka Cabana with today’s Cheery Lynn Designs post.

Hi Jeannie! I absolutely LOVE this sweet card. It pretty much covers any and every occasion you could have possibily missed, or might need. You send out one of those and you’re covered for a while. LOL I just ADORE your use of Cheery Lynn Designs sweet die-cuts. I would cover ALL my projects in their sweet dies if I had more of them. I am limited to the two I own, but they’re definitely on my “wish list”. I made the mistake of entering twice last week, and had my project pulled from the challenge, so I’ve tried again this week. I’m really crossing my fingers, and we will see what happens. I just love the sweet touch Cheery Lynn dies add to a project. You have done a beautiful job of showcasing this very fact in this delightful card. I was blessed to find your sweet blog, and I look forward to visiting often to be inspired, and of course…….to drool a bit at all your dies you use. Your art is lovely. If you ever get the chance, I would just LOVE to hav you play along at my challenge blog (www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com) and share your gorgeous work with us there. Thanks for the inspiration, and for your sweet comments on my blog. It’s a blessing to be inspired and encouraged by such sweet crafters!
    Have a blessed week!
    Karen
