A Cheery Lynn Designs tribute to The Girl in the Garden

For one of my other jobs, I get to Book Reviews for the SIMPLY STACIE blog.

For our CHEERY LYNN purposes, you can see, this card is a tribute to the wonderful book cover of The Girl in the Garden.

This was my first time working with the new die called EMPEROR’S SWAN.

I was amazed at what an easy time I had cutting this out. My secret?

My brand new CUTTLEHUG Metal Adapter Plate.

You can see how intricate and delicate this die is; the CUTTLEHUG made this painless for me!

I also used the VICTORIAN PICKET FENCE, TROPICAL FLOURISH, GRASS BORDER and PRETTY PETAL.

Good news and Giveaway!!

I am so proud to say that I will be on the TALLY SCAPPER.COM design team.

This is a dream job as I love all the ladies on Tally Scrapper.

In the next couple of days, watch for my Tally Tribute post!  There will be a giveaway along with it!  I hope to get this together in the next week or so!  I am on a mini vacation this weekend which will delay this a bit!

My newest “JOB”

I have not had the opportunity to blog about my newest job.  Well, maybe it is not a job, but I will call it one.  

Have you heard of the Simply Stacie.net blog?  Simply Stacie has over 8900 followers and reviews tons of different types of products.

I have been “hired” on as one of her book reviewers.  I call this my BIG GIRL job, because I am in total control of what I want to review.  I read the pitch and if it seem like something I like, I say I will review it and in turn someone sends me the book, I read it and give my honest opinion.

This has been so much fun, I have read so many great books in the past couple of weeks.  As my reviews go up on Simply Stacie, I will alert  you.

My first review is up today.  I have the copy I was given and I would love to pass it along to someone who reads my review and thinks it sounds like a book they’d like to read.

It is set in Ireland and focuses heavy on folklore and personal relationships and how the folklore affects the relationships of the characters.
