A Mushroom Recap

12 May

This is going to be a quick recap using my FAVORITE little Mushroom Stamps.  I have been sick, oh so sick, and need a couple more hours to finish up on my other Rubbermoon project.

But, I wanted to show you just how many things and how many different TYPES if things I have made with just a couple of the RUBBERMOON stamps.

This was last months project, the one I made with things I had inherited from my mom…

Using the same stamp plus some others, I was able to digitally create this shirt for a sweet friend.

Project 1

Project 1a

Then using my same magic WOW, computer skills that I used on the above T-shirt, I was able to make this plaque.  Do you want to know something pretty cool?

She loved all this so much, and my phrase, she’s actully having the phrase tattooed to her back.  I tole her that is awesome, because then I can tell people, something I made up has been, “published.”

Project 2a

Project 2b

Then there was this book mark too!

Project 3a

So can you see how versatile stamps are.  You do not need a million to create with, just a couple you really like and the sky is the limit!

I will be making another post soon, so come back then to see what I have created, sans mushrooms!!

Have you missed me??

15 Oct

I have taken some time off from blogging, BUT, guess what?  I am BACK!!

Not only am I back, I have got some terrific news about a new team I have been chosen for..

Introducing…RubberMoon Arts!!  The Creative team for RubberMoon Stamps!!  HOORAY!!

To try out for this team, we were asked to make 3 never before seen projects.

I was limited in what RubberMoon stamps I had, so bear with the repetition in my projects..

All 3 of my projects were made for a wonderful, sweet coworker who happens to be a total book lover!!

So, the stamps I had were perfect.  I took advantage of my digital abilities and created 1 total digital project, 1 digital hybrid project and 1 traditional stamped project.

Here they all are:

Those of you who have been with me, I hope you will join me as I embark on this new adventure.  I am thrilled for this opportunity.  Not only do I love the style of RubberMoon stamps, we also carry these in the store I work at, Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames.  So this feels like a personal endeavor as well!

I hope you will enjoy the things I will be sharing in the upcoming months!!

JW Illustrations + WOW Embossing + Momenta = Amazing!

12 Mar

I have a new card to share with you with and added technique.

I want to shoe you how I took a digital stamp and used multiple embossing powders to create a One of a Kind card.

I used the Digital Stamp from Jessica Weible Illustraions called HOT AIR BALLOON

What I did first was to print the image out multiple times and used an embossing pen to lay done the embossing ink and then embossed the Hot Air Balloon in the following colors.  I am using all WOW EMBOSSING POWDERS from the line called Candy Counter Collection.

After I embossed all the colors, I carefully cut each one out and pieced the Hot Air Balloon back together.

Because I am lucky enough to work with Momenta on their D-Lite team, I had some paper and products that matched my balloon perfectly.

The papers I used are from this 5 x 7 Cardstock Pad and stickers from their Kaleidoscope line.

Isn’t this just a bright and cherry card?

Companies supplies used:

Jessica Weible Illustration

Wow Embossing Powders

Momenta

Craftword Cards

Martha Stewart Punches

Cheery Lynn Designs

The Twinery

Me & My Big Ideas

Thanks for stopping by today…do you love all these bright colors or what??

Strawberry Lovers Card

6 Feb

Hello all..I have a fun little card to share today.

This is using a digi stamp from Jessica Weible Illustrations called Strawberry Girl.

You can find the digital stamp here.

What I did to make this card unique is that I took the digital stamp of the strawberry on the girl’s shirt and used it as a template to make the strawberry out of polymer clay.

After the strawberry was done cooking, I adhered a bail to the back of it and turned it into a necklace.  I poked a hole in the card front and had the strawberry line up on the shirt where the stamp is.

What little girl wouldn’t be excited about a card like this?

If you have not been over to Jessica Weible’s site and had a look at all her fun digital images, you are really missing out!

I hope you have enjoyed this card, it was a lot of fun to make!

I am off to create more things!  Hope you have a great day and a wonderful week!

All Occasion beauty!

23 Dec
On my last Cheery Lynn Designs post, when I had made the Tussie Mussie, I really loved using the Wittle Weavers for weaving the base.  I knew this week I wanted to use the Wittle Weavers again, but this time I used them on my card background.
The creme and blue papers are woven together and then I used the Stitcher Plate to create the stitched look.
I love flowers so much and I never tire of creating them.  It is fun finding new ways to make them.
For the rolled up looking flower, I took the Wittle Wicker and cut strips of the blue and red papers.
Then I glued the strips together and wound them around a button to create the rolled flower.  The flower with the petals is made from our brand new Medium Rose.  The accordion flower is made with the leftover scraps I had from cutting out the ZIG ZAG RIC RAC.
Other dies I used were the Lace Edger and the Tropical Flourish.
The teddy bear is done on shrink film and is and adorable digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Teddy’s house.  It is removable to use as a decoration/ornament etc.
That does it for my project today!  I truly look at it and smile.
I never tire of making things and I hope you never tire of the things I share.
My wishes to all you are to have a wonderful holiday, enjoy your family and loved ones as we all celebrate this beautiful season.
Merry Christmas everyone!
This has been Jeannie from The Polka Cabana with today’s post.

Australian Cheer from Cheery Lynn Designs

16 Sep
Yesterday was the Cheery Lynn Design new release post.  Did you go over and see all the projects done with the new dies?
Here is the link to see them:
Well I am going to continue the party with some more new releases.
Today’s card is a cheerful card for a special Australian I have in mind.
I can’t remember what this card shape is called, some sort of fancy fold.
It is a card and envelope all in one. (Not a mailing envelope though!)
This is a side view of it all folded up.
Here, I have laid it down and I am starting to open up the card.
This is the first part of the card you see when you open up the front of the card.
This here is a view of the inside.
Are you keeping up?  The card says, En”joey” your day!
Here I am starting to fold it up again.
I fold the left side in first.
Then I fold in the right side, which is also the card front.
Last step is to tuck the top in to a pocket behind the main picture, and it stays together all by itself.
Isn’t that a great design?
I love it!
I hope you like this card and design.  I had a ton of fun making it.
The new dies I used today are:
