Wednesday Wowzers with I Heart {ippity}

2 Nov

I have such a fun project for you today!

I have used the new set called Loads of Love.

I had a creative vision about the laundry basket and a clothesline for this card, so that is what I created.

How do you like that cloud punch?  I will think of my buddy over on My Analog Life, when ever I use it!

Cards are just so fun!  Have I told you before I never could make cards?  My mom was the card artist, not me!

Now, I actually find them easier to do then scrapbook pages, but it used to be the other way around.  Go figure!

This set, Loads of Love, is such a FUN, FUN, FUN set!  Goodness I love it, LOADS!!!(ha ha)

Now, I would love for you to head on over to I Heart {ippity} to see what our other have made to WOW you!

Have a great Wednesday!

Sweet Stamps Easel Challenge

25 Oct

Hooray, it’s Tuesday!  That means what?

A new Sweet Stamps challenge.

This could possibly be my FAVORITE challenge!

Easel Card

I love making these cards.

The concept is to make the top of the card so it opens and stays propped up, like an easel.

I mounted my whole easel card on a larger card base and this is the inside of my card.

Lots of layers, lots of dimension to this card.

I simply adore the way it all came together.

I used the following stamps from Sweet Stamps.com

Rose & Leaf Bold

Thank You Fancy

Other Supplies from Sweet Stamps.com

Uncommon 6×6 Authentique Paper Pad

Cheery Lynn Designs Little Stackers

Misc. Supplies

Authentique Paper Noteables

We love for our friends to join in on our challenges, so head on over to Sweet Stamps blog and see what out Design Team members have come up with.

Remember every weeks challenge has a $20 gift certificate up for grabs for a lucky random participant!

This is a perfect way to try out the sweetest stamps out there!

Sweet Stamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy paper crafting, now go have some fun!!

New {ippity} sets make me HAPPY!!

19 Oct

Borrowing the word from Heather @ I Heart {ippity}, I have some new rub-bah to show you!!

For this card I have used the new set called Loads of Love.

My paper is the new line from Authentique Paper called GATHERING.

I am short on time and words today, so I will not bore you with the mundane details of how I created this card, but if you have any questions, all you have to do is ask!

You know where to find me…right?

I am so in love with {ippity} stamps and creating for I Heart {ippity} is never a chore…only a pleasure!

I feel the same way each time I pull out any of my Authentique Paper products!

I am a thankful person today!

Stop by I Heart {ippity} to see what the Design Team has come up with on this Wednesday Wowzer day.

Criss-Cross Card…Have you made one?

27 Sep

I saw this card pattern awhile ago and really wanted to try it.

I was very excited when I saw that our challenge this week was for this type of card!

For this Criss Cross card, I used this tutorial.

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/criss_cross_card/

I was amazed at how easy it was to make.

For this card I used the following Sweet Stamps:

Triple Tulips

Friend

My paper is from Authentique Paper. I am convinced they might be the best paper company ever!  Be sure to see my tutorial HERE as to why I think this and HOW I made my paper border.

Splendid

Uncommon

Have you ever just pierced your paper for a nice effect?

Pierce the holes and put some dimensional foam between the pierced paper and the layer underneath to show off the piercing.

Here is the card all put back together with the insert slightly lifted out, so you can see how this card works.

I encourage you to join our challenge here:

http://sweetstampsblog.blogspot.com/

The Criss Cross card is amazingly simple and very satisfying to make.

You can win a $20.00 gift cert. to the Sweet Stamps store, so what are you waiting for???

Sweet Stamps and Cheery Lynn Designs Vintage Touch

20 Sep
This is somewhat of a combined post for me as I have made today’s project for both Sweet Stamps and Cheery Lynn Designs.
I am helping a Cheery Lynn Designs DT member and we have traded days, just for this week.
Normally I make cards for Sweet Stamps, but today Sweet Stamps new theme starts and the theme is:
So, I made a Scrapbook page.
I have put so many fun things on this layout I do not know where to begin.
All my flowers are made with our new STACKER FLOWERS.
In addition to the Stacker Flowers, I have also used the following dies:
That Gorgeous floral swag is Sweet Stamp’s
By cutting of the oval outline, I was able to create these floral swags.
I also framed the first letter of my saying with the POSTAGE STAMP stamp.
Here is a side view to see all the dimension in our new Flower Stackers.
These flowers are just gorgeous and so easy to assemble.
Most of my paper supplies and embellishments are from my September Tally Scrapper’s Monthly Kit.
I am also entering this in the Tally Scrapper’s September Kit Challenge .  I have to use at least 75% of supplies for the page from my Tally Scrapper kit and my theme has to be VINTAGE.  So, how do you think I did?
The saying is from a song by a funny little group called Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeroes.
The line I used is “Home is wherever I’m with you.”
My hubby and I just had this picture takes at his 30th high school reunion last weekend.  It was the perfect picture for this layout that just dreamed up.
I could not have done this layout with out all my Alphas and Tiny Types from Authentique Paper.
I hope you have enjoyed my post today.  I had so much fun putting it all together.
I will be back next Friday with another fun project for Cheery Lynn Designs, so until then..bye for now.
This has been Jeannie with The Polka Cabana with today’s post.

Sweet Stamps goes Back to School

30 Aug

It is Tuesday which means….It is time to issue another Sweet  Stamps Challenge.

This week we are challenging you with a sketch.

Here it is.

On my card today I have used the very fun stamp called:

Umbrella 244.

You know I love to paper piece and today’ s card is proof.

I have used paper from the Authentique Paper line called Blissful.  You can see all the products for this line here.

For my apples, I just used a heart punch and cut the bottoms off to make them look like apples.

Well, what do you think?  I am rather excited how it turned out, sometimes sketches make me nervous, but not this time!

Now it is your turn!  Head on over to the Sweet Stamps blog and play along with us!

As always you will be playing to win a $20.00 Sweet Stamps.com Gift Certificate!

Have a great Tuesday!

I Heart {ippity} Sweetest card EVER!!

17 Aug

Sometimes I go crazy putting everything I have into a project!

Today’s card is utilizing the {ippity} set called:

New Season, New Wonder

I adore this set.

This started in my head as a pretty simple card.

But then what sometimes happens is that these cards take on a life of their own.

I get caught up in my supplies, not to mention the fabulous stamp set!

This has elements of about all my favorite things in the world!

Authentique Paper(blue), American Crafts Cardstock(white), Canvas Corp Paper(polka dot), Cherries, Beads and Chipboard!

I have to point out how thrilled I am with Authentique Paper‘s durability.

By far it stands up the best to embossing and sanding compared to any other paper I have used!

 Bravo Authentique Paper!

Don’t you love that glass cherry in the center?  I have no idea where I got them!

I also love the color combo or blue and red together, so there is another favorite covered!

I would love for you to visit the I Heart {ippity} blog and see the other fabulous designer’s cards!

Have a great day and I hope you have enjoyed my post today!!
