Wednesday WOWZER TIME!!!

Hello everyone.  It is me Jeannie, here with a fun, quick and easy WOWZER card today.

I am using the Sketch from Chick Challenges With Ippity CC44.

Here is my take on the sketch.

I am using 2 different sets.

The flower is from the set called, BECAUSE OF YOU.

The word “friends” is from the set called TIME FOR…FRIENDS & WINE.

I stayed pretty simple with my color scheme and spritzed the card with some matte Tattered Angels spray, since I could not get my glimmer mist unclogged! (ARGH!!!)

It still turned out lovely, I think!

I like how the flowers mimic “friends”.  Different, but the same.

Mid-afternoon Wednesday Wowzer

First day of school kind of snuck up on my and before I know it, Wednesday was here…I had not finished my WOW and I had kids to get to school!

I got them to school and I just got done with my project for today!

I am entering a couple of different challenges.  You can read about those on my blog.

For this card I used the following sets:

Friendship Rainbow and Gurnsey Gingham. You might now be able to tell, but the stars are punched out from the embossed pattern of Gurnsey Gingham.

I am using on of my favorite Mary Engelbreit Calendar pages for my focal point.

Really wowing you Wednesday!

Since we are fresh off our I Heart {ippity}, blog hop, I really felt like I needed to take it up a notch to WOW you all today!

For my project I am using the sketch on the Chick Challenges with Ippity site.

Here is the Sketch for Chick Challenge #41.

Also on the Unity Opportunity site they have a challenge going on and their challenge is to use the itty bitty {ippity} stamps and I am using the set called, SOMETHING GROOVY to play in that challenge also.

Here is a Gift set made from a draw string bag from STATELINEBAG.COM and inside the bag I have a craft container that is the perfect way to stash some cash for a birthday gift or whatever the occasion requires.

The container is a craft is a craft tube from Joy’s Life Products.com.

Here you can get a better look at how I have assembled the gift bag.

The bag itself measures 4″ x 6″ so instead of sewing the fabric, I used my Beacon Adhesives Fabric-Tac.

The stamped image is laminated and can be removed from the bag and doubles as a bookmark.

Aww…this set has so many fun surprises!!!

I just love everything about it!

Wednesday Wowzer Time

Maybe I’ve said this before, but sometimes I make something and I’m just giddy about the finished product!

Today is one of those days!

This is the card I have made for I Heart {ippity}

Have you ever had a need for a card to give to a friend that’s not really a sorry card but more like a Murphy’s Law card, Luck of the Draw card, Guilt by Association card?

This is one of types of occasions.

I am using the set called: Simply Home.

I have paired the set up using Pink Paislee’s Hometown Summer Paper.  The fun thing about this card is the sarcastic humor.  This sweet phrase says: “Life is Simple”

But the occasion I am giving this card, to a friend, for contradicts that, so when you open the doors to the house, it says, “yeah, right!”

Lots of machine sewing and fun details went into this card, since it is Wednesday and I am expected to WOW you!!

I had a ton of fun making this and it was well worth losing quality sleep over!

Wednesday Wowzer Time

Today, I am doing something a little different.  I am using one of the challenge card sketches for a GIFT BAG!

Here is the gift bag I have created.

The stamp I used to create the flowers is the heart from the set Straight From The Heart.

All of my paper products(not the tissue paper though) are from Canvas Corp.

I spritzed my papers with Tattered Angels Verdigris.  Wow!!  I am so in love with that color!!!

The bright colors are perfect for this project since I am also entering this in the Unity Opportunity Challenge called BRIGHT.

After making this, I am inspired to make more to have on hand for when I need a gift bag at the spur of the moment.

It always seems like I need one and then don’t have time to actually sit and make one in the time frame when I need it!  Do you know what I mean?

Wednesday Wowzer

It has been a whirlwind of a week for me and things have calmed slightly enough for me to create for today’s post.

Today I am using one of my favorite {ippity} sets called:

Flowers + Friends = Priceless

I made this card to go along with the challenge over on the

Get Hippity with Ippity site

Challenge 21 called Flower & Leaf.

I call this card a 4 square card.

By no means did I make the card up, but the directions I had from a well published book were so lousy,

I had yo recreate the card by sheer luck.

It gathers and closes and opens like a box lid.  Here is what it looks like on the inside opened up.

You can put what ever kind of sentiment or note you want to on the inside.

On the front you have 4 mini panels to decorate.

You can use it as a large panel or break it down into 4 small ones like I have.

Isn’t this a cute card and pattern?  And those flower stamps??  Get OUT!!  They are the best!!

I also want to point out the delectable goodies from these other companies I am using with this project.

I Heart {ippity} Wednesday Wowzer

My post is late today as I was awaiting the right amount of sunshine to take my picture.  I had the card all ready to go, when MARMALADE..the neighbors cat decided to come and visit!  OOPS!

Anyhow, I am using this fun sketch from the Chick Challenges blog.

 Here is my take on the sketch.

Lots of stitching on this card.  There are quite a few layers!

I am using the set called We’re Better Together.

I also am using lots of fabulous Vellum and Metallic Foil Board from GRAFIX ARTS.

Are those bees just the cutest little things or what?
