Gel A Tins Stamps – Little Piggies
5 AprGel a tins Animal Magnetism
16 FebThis card is just a fun, innocent card!
I just couldn’t help wanting to make this ANIMAL card, when I started working with this sweet little set.
The set is called:
Pet Shop
What I did was cut all my papers to size first. I took the sheet of stamps and randomly out the whole set(minus the hearts) on one acrylic block.
I then stamped and embossed my background paper and added the hearts back in, in 2 different embossed colors.
Then a made my phrase in PSE and printed it out and put the card altogether.
Here is the inside of the card.
I just love how whimsical this came out.
Have you tried using multiple stamps from a set to create your own unique background paper?
I will be looking carefully at all my sets to see which ones I can use this same technique with.
I hope you have enjoyed my post today!
Head on over to Gel a tins Stamps blog and see what some of the other designers are up to! While you are there let them know Jeannie sent you!

A love story with Gel-à-tins
12 JanI am soooooooooooo excited I can hardly stand it!
I have gotten lots of new gel-à-tins stamps to play with.
Today I am using the stamp called Love Knots.
Here is a peak at the set.
My hubby and I will celebrate our 23rd anniversary this year and when I saw this LOVE KNOTS stamp, I knew I wanted to make an anniversary card for him.
I started by stamping and embossing the image in white on vellum.
I wanted to make it look like a tree with our initials carved in it…but this is the 2nd best thing I could come up with.
Oh how I LOVE RED!! I think this all works so perfectly together!
I just adored working with this cute stamp and can’t wait to show you more things with the new sets I have to play with! Be sure to come back and see what set I use next time!
We’d love to hear from you. Leave a link in your comment if you’d like!
I’d love to hear your ideas!

Gel-à-tins fun stuff!
29 DecI am soooooooooooo excited I can hardly stand it!
I have new gel-à-tins to play with.
Today I am using the set called Pet Shop.
Here is a peak at the set.
Here are the basic steps I took to create my card.
First I stamped the pig from the set 3 times in a pink ink.
I knew that I wanted them raised, shiny and embossed, but I do not own a pink embossing powder. So what I did, after I stamped them in pink I quickly stamped the pigs again with clear embossing ink and then I embosses them with clear embossing powder to get this look, below.
I then use the computer to create the phrase I wanted and then applied a path to the words to create a sense of movement.
Here is the finished product.
I was hoping to make it looks like the pigs were doing a flip, did it work?
Here is a side view to see the layers I created, I love the dimension when there are lots of layers in a card.
I just adored working with this set and can’t wait to show you more things with the new sets I have to play with! Be sure to come back and see what set I use next time!
