I only used the adhesive to tack down the middles of all my background papers to secure them as I did the sewing.
I am so happy my idea worked! Now I will be scouring through my patterns to see what else would be fun to make out or paper!

Hooray, it’s Tuesday! That means what?
A new Sweet Stamps challenge.
This could possibly be my FAVORITE challenge!
Easel Card
I love making these cards.
The concept is to make the top of the card so it opens and stays propped up, like an easel.
I mounted my whole easel card on a larger card base and this is the inside of my card.
Lots of layers, lots of dimension to this card.
I simply adore the way it all came together.
I used the following stamps from Sweet Stamps.com –
Other Supplies from Sweet Stamps.com
Uncommon 6×6 Authentique Paper Pad
Cheery Lynn Designs Little Stackers
Misc. Supplies
We love for our friends to join in on our challenges, so head on over to Sweet Stamps blog and see what out Design Team members have come up with.
Remember every weeks challenge has a $20 gift certificate up for grabs for a lucky random participant!
This is a perfect way to try out the sweetest stamps out there!

Happy paper crafting, now go have some fun!!
I saw this card pattern awhile ago and really wanted to try it.
I was very excited when I saw that our challenge this week was for this type of card!
For this Criss Cross card, I used this tutorial.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/criss_cross_card/
I was amazed at how easy it was to make.
For this card I used the following Sweet Stamps:
My paper is from Authentique Paper. I am convinced they might be the best paper company ever! Be sure to see my tutorial HERE as to why I think this and HOW I made my paper border.
Have you ever just pierced your paper for a nice effect?
Pierce the holes and put some dimensional foam between the pierced paper and the layer underneath to show off the piercing.
Here is the card all put back together with the insert slightly lifted out, so you can see how this card works.
I encourage you to join our challenge here:

Today on Sweet Stamps blog our new challenge is starting.
The theme is = STITCHING (real or faux)
I never thought I would be one to use my machine on craft projects but I came to terms with this a while ago and now I love stitching on my paper crafts!
For this card what I did was to stamp the FORGET ME NOT stamp on an off-white piece of paper.
Then I took that and followed the outline with a satin stitch on my machine.
Because the satin stitch is such a close-knit stitch, it served at piercing the entire heart out of the paper after I was done stitching.
The result was that I was left with the stitched outline of the heart, only.
I then re-stamped the image and attached the stitched frame and built around the frame with flowers.
Then I made the little tag with the HI stamp.
I can’t tell you how gorgeous this card turned out…the pictures don’t do it justice.
The FORGET ME NOT stamp was the perfect stamp for this method.
If you have ever thought about trying your hand at stitching, this is the perfect time to challenge yourself,
Here is the link to go check out this challenge.
