Gel a Tins with Authentique Paper

I had such a fun time with this card.  I blew the dust off the ole Cricut and used the Create a Critter cartridge.

I am using all Authentique Papers from the 2 lines called:

Gathering & Celebrate

I am using the Gel a tins stamps called:

Love Knots

First, I embossed the stamp onto a piece of paper in black.

I adhered it to my card front as shown below.

 Next I embossed the Love Knots stamp onto the tree branch and phrase in white.

Then comes the fun part…putting the card together.

A close up of the darling owl!  Isn’t it adorable??

To keep the card closed, I used a homemade repositionable glue dot under the bottom of the owl.

 It lies nice and flat and opens nice an easily:)

I made a card for this challenge and here is what I came up with.

I used the newer line called Gathering.

I love the color palette of this card, the oranges and blues are so relaxing and inviting together.

I always like to have lots of different elements and this card I have mixed ribbon and papers all within the same color scheme.

New Sketch Challenge @ Authentique Paper’s blog

Thanksgiving Place Setting Idea

I have such a fun idea to share with you!

The holidays are upon us.  I have an adorable idea for you to try for your Thanksgiving table this year.

How about mini cornucopias and easel place cards?

I had so much fun looking at my dies and figuring out what I could make for this cornucopia.

I think I am the queen of “thinking outside of the box.”

I will tell you my secret ingredients(dies) for each thing you are seeing here.

To start with, I used the Folding Fan.

The pumpkins are made from Wittle Wickers and Dimensional Small Leaves #2.

The tomato is made from Stacker Flower 3 and Leaf.

 The corn is made from the Tulip in the Tulip Frame die.

The vine the grapes are attached to is from Bird on a Branch.   The sunflower is from the Sunflower die.

I made the place cards from the Little Stackers French Flair dies.

The tiny rolled flower is the handle from the Folding Fan die.

All my papers are from Authentique Paper’s new line called Gathering.

SO what do you think?  Can you imagine how cute it would be to have these decorations at your table for Thanksgiving?

This was such a joy to make.  My kids just went nuts when the saw the tiny ears of corn.  They loved it all.

For this card I have used the new set called Loads of Love.

My paper is the new line from Authentique Paper called GATHERING.

I am short on time and words today, so I will not bore you with the mundane details of how I created this card, but if you have any questions, all you have to do is ask!

I am so in love with {ippity} stamps and creating for I Heart {ippity} is never a chore…only a pleasure!

Authentique Paper Color Challenge

Look at the new color combo Challenge up on the Authentique Blog.

I had a lot of fun with this card and loved the color combination.

I used paper from Wonder, Glowing and Splendid.  I also used an Icon from the brand new Gathering line.

I put lots of machine stitching and special touches in this card.

I just love trying to make each card I make a piece of art.

Cheery Lynn Designs New Release Time

If you haven’t heard, today is New Release day for Cheery Lynn Designs.

All of the dies in this release are so beautiful.  I have used the Harvest One Frame Die.

This is a large die, measuring 5 3/4″ x 4 3/8″.

I paper pieced the pumpkins and leaves with Authentique Paper’s new line called Gathering.

I Heart {ippity} meets Gathering from Authentique Paper

Today I am lucky enough to show you the new line Authentique Paper is releasing.  It is called Gathering.

Since it is Wednesday Wowsers over at I Heart {ippity}, I thought I’d wow you with a card made with the Gathering paper and goodies.

I thought the Authentique Paper was the perfect complement to the set I wanted to use called DEVOTED.

The Devoted {ippity} set is such a wonderful set.  I love how big the sentiments are.

I also love the fact that {ippity} stamps are all precut.  They are remarkable stamps and if you have not had a chance to try them out…you are really missing out!

Head on over to I Heart {ippity} and be wowed by the other team members projects and stop and look at all the different stamps sets that are available.
