Our AMAZING design team has lots of inspiration for you, so you can get your hands inky and have fun with {ippity} and Unity Stamps!
For today I have made a fun gift set.
I am using the set called LOADS OF LOVE.
I have taken a 5″ x 7″ cotton drawstring bag from, STATE LINE BAG CO. , and have used it as a gift bag for this necklace card tag.
I stamped the heart from the stamp set on the paper and the cotton bag and then also on fabric, cut the fabric out and appliqued the cut out hearts to the bag and gift tag.
I also stamped part of the “Loads of Love” sentiment onto the front of the bag.
Adding ribbon to the front of the bag adds a cute touch.
I think it all works so well together.
I hope you have enjoyed my gift idea…NOW…..
Heather is giving away a prize to one person who comments on all of the DT blogs!  So get commenting!  You should head over to AMY’s blog now to see her fabulous work!  Here is the lineup in case you get lost.

Authentique Paper Guest Post + Giveaway

13 Jun

I am so excited that I was invited to have the opportunity to do a guest spot for Authentique Paper.

I am mostly using papers from the line called CAREFREE.

I came across this thing at my local thrift store.

I have no idea what it was originally for, but I have needed a cute napkin holder for my kitchen table for a long time.

I used lots of different prints from my 6 x 6 Carefree bundle.

I love Authentique’s different alphabet stickers and have quite a few from their different lines.

I used those alphas to spell out gently manner reminders that I am always needing to remind my kids of.

I applied all the papers with Modge Podge so this would last a long time.

I also mixed in some old sheet music to add some different colors to the project.  The blue paper is from Authentique Paper’s Genuine Line.

I sometimes create things for posts I have no need for, but this is one thing I will use everyday!

Red is my favorite color and goes perfect in my home.

I hope you like this as much as I do.

Next, using the same Carefree Line, I made a small plaque that could be used as a gift for a new mom.

Wouldn’t this be perfect sitting on a shelf or hanging on a wall in a baby’s room?

Using Authentique Paper’s different alphabet stickers, you can customize something like this any way you’d like.

I just love the floral print on the purse!  I would love to have some FABRIC in that print!  AHHHHHH!

I hope you have enjoyed my small visit back with my lovely friends at  Authentique Paper.

Do you know anyone with a baby named MAE?  Do you just love this plaque and want to change the name yourself??

Leave a comment, I could be persuaded to send this to you.  Leave a comment here and on Authentique Paper’s BLOG,

letting me know which of the Authentique Paper lines in your favorite and I will choose a random winner next Wednesday to send this plaque to!

I have said it before and will say it again, it is NEVER a chore to work with their product and is always such a pleasure to make things with their products!

Hope you have a great Wednesday!

This has been YOU KNOW WHO…tempting you with some CAREFREE fun from Authentique Paper!

Bunnies and Blossoms Banner Hop for Special Needs Children

23 Mar

Welcome to the Bunnies and Blossoms Banner Hop for Special Needs Children.

Today and tomorrow (March 24-25), 30+fantastic papercrafters have come together to create Spring-themed banners.

They will then donate these banners to Ellen (CardMonkey), who works asAdmissions Coordinator at Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC),

PSC is a long-term care facility for specialneeds children who are medically-fragile and/or technologically-dependent.

The babies, children and youths at PSC range in age from birth to 21, and areadmitted from all over the country.

Some are infants, born prematurely and before their lungs have had a chance to mature.

Others have serious birth defects, illnesses or injuries from accidents that cause them to need tender loving carein a home-like environment — many for their lifetimes.

Having had 2 preemies myself, this is kind of scenario is close to my heart.

This is my 7th child and she and my 6th child were both preemies born 3 months early.

I am well aware of the thankfulness parents have for the special things that are done for these babies and children during their long hospital stays.

I hope that all our banners ease the stress and bring a smile to the families we are donating these banners to.

Our banners are meant to cheer the young patients, their families, and the staff at PSC.

Here is the banner that I made and will be sending to Ellen to decorate a child’s room:

I do have some blog candy to give away along with the BIG PRIZE you can see on our HOP HOSTESSES BLOG:
